fell and we ate barbecued pilchards, spare ribs and kebabs,
served with salad, all delicious, as they are expert cooks. Julie
had gone to stay with her mother and sister on Friday night
prior to the family, her mother, stepfather and her sister with
Luckily for all of us, on both holidays, the heavy rain that had
lasted all summer was taking a brief break that day. However
I got up about 11am, to rain as threatened over the weekend
by the weather forecast. We were not going out that day!
Instead I set to and fixed all of the problems on my father’s PC,
and removed some dubious software. Alarmingly, the Norton
Security Software which he had installed a whole year ago, had
never worked despite six long useless ‘chats’ to their technical
