NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

Monday 5 th January – Sunday 11 th January 2009.
Suddenly this week a lot more happened – by degrees! On
Monday I had an email from Damian Allison of Allison and Reilly
at last, apologising for the delay but answering my emails of
the previous Monday. Most clients got £200-£400 credit card
charges refunded, he said, under Office of Fair Trading Rules –
but some got as much as £1000! I thought to myself I could
expect some £200-£1000 in the several months time he quoted
as typical for the process to take. In addition he had sent a
letter with the now familiar letter of authority for Capital One
this time, to sign and date and return with £10 cheque made
out to them as possible fee for examining their files. I had my
depot that afternoon, and saw the trainee social worker James
who tried to interest me in some rudimentary ‘back to
(voluntary?) work’ five day course lasting five weeks held miles
away by bus. I have decided, since reading about it, that it is
too simple and will achieve nothing for me.
That evening I decided that Book Promotion ltd and I could now
part company and said good bye in an email saying: -
• Thank you for a very good web site
• Thank you for halving my fee from £396 to £198 in
December
• You have got me 5,000 visits to the site and two orders in
two months not the five months you yourselves expected
• As your own email of today says, ‘what more can you do
for me?’ My own answer is nothing, you have always done
your best despite problems so ‘Many thanks and good
bye’.
As ever there was no reply. So my days of worry with that
company Book Promotion ltd are over. I have had possession
of the website since end of November; simplified and also
extended the wording a bit – and now regard it as perfectly
presentable – and finished. As a result, over a period of four
stabs at this in December, I have merged back in the material
and bibliography taken out into a separate ‘New Gold Dawn’
version of my book ‘Scientific Proof’ after my Mother died in
August 2007. So now the situation is a lot cleaner and simpler.
