NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

Monday 17 th August – Sunday 23 rd August 2009.
On the Monday I again googled for ‘literary agents’, and as
once before, found invaluable the site of the Writers’ and
Artists’ Yearbook. This time, having emailed about 25 literary
agents (presumed genuine this time!) on the Friday before, I
now emailed 38 more US agents that I found on that web site
who had email addresses and had relevant interest areas listed
there.
Also on Monday I had an appointment with my optician as I was
unhappy about my vision with the no less than three pairs of
glasses I had bought there two months earlier. However, he
found that the problem was not the glasses – but a weakness
had emerged in my left eye that could not be corrected even
with spectacles!
On Tuesday I got the two refunds in my bank account totalling
over £100, so shopped at Tesco, and also ordered for the first
time, copies of ‘Scientific Proof’ actually containing the new
Article Seven – three copies in fact.
So back to my email shot to a total of over 60 mainly USA
literary agents. All of six emails ‘bounced’ – mostly with
unknown addresses, so they were wrong or the agent had gone
out of business; with just one bounced as ‘spam’! Just nine
have replied ‘no!’ so far – but a further six have replied ‘we will
reply in a few weeks’ – mostly auto replies, those.
Only one has been tantalisingly ‘near but yet so far’ to a ‘yes’!
