NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

That happened on Friday, after I also emailed eleven agents
that had not indicated they were full up, also in January. I
emailed a twelfth yesterday, Sunday 26 th April. Only three
have replied ‘no!’ outright to date. Encouragingly, a fourth, a
Rupert Heath ltd, said in reply over that weekend, ‘we cannot
represent this ourselves but you are bound to find a lot of
interest elsewhere’. Certainly, nearly two weeks from that
Thursday, I am still waiting to hear from all of eight agents
contacted by email and five out of the six that I wrote to – just
one returned my writing on Saturday in the post. It has been
quite a long enough delay for them to have been seriously
considering my Manifesto – so I am getting quietly increasingly
excited! I had a bit of trouble publishing the Manifesto on
Thursday 16 th April because, it turned out, this 40-page booklet
was too short by all of 28 pages to be ‘published by lulu’ – and
thence bookshops on the Internet – at www.lulu.com .
I managed it on Friday – publishing it only in the ‘Lulu
Marketplace’ not in bookshops, means that if and when I get
any sales, they will be reported on my home page on
www.lulu.com as they happen, in ‘real time’ – not weeks
later. Much better than waiting for reports from the Internet
bookshops, weeks on, as hitherto with my other book. Also
that Friday I posted the six copies to agencies, one copy to my
father and one to the Reverend Simon Manley-Cooper, QEII
Chaplain.
In near despair at ever getting a reply I posted off a third copy
of my letters asking Barclaycard and Citi Cards to write off my
debts to them! Juli had mixed news about her job applications
to care work agencies – one she liked turned her down – but
she had in fact been accepted for a job ‘caring round the
houses’ some ten miles from home!
That weekend I built a second, brand new, website for my
Manifesto at http://maam.org.uk and got it uploaded and live
too – surprising with it being at the weekend! I copied my
existing website HTML to a new directory and turned it from
seven pages to just three – a home page with the entire text of
the Manifesto, with a copy of the second ‘how to order’ page
