pretentious indeed. However, definitely in the book, most of the
really interesting stuff comes with the author having high
ideals.
The way the author traces the divine in sciences is surely
innovative. Passionately, he analyses and decrypts the
structure of the Spirit, using a scientific method and referring to
a common scientific knowledge. Nevertheless, this rigorous
analysis is just one part of this very deep book. Going back to
basics, Simon Lee offers us his own very special translation of
some chapters of the Holy Books, commenting on them in a
stimulating and personal way.
His main point is how human history and society can be traced
in the words of the holy literature. From wars to capitalism,
from terrorism to the computer age, anything can be read
about in the holy literature. That easily leads us to recognize
who are (or have been) the enemies of the Spirit: some of
them are not just “fictional characters”, but a real presence in
our lives.
Written in a wise mixture of precise analysis and simple
