11. In November I should hear that my design for a
‘worldwide standard keyboard’ has been registered and
published in an Intellectual Property Office Magazine. Will
some company or companies get interested?
The only things I am waiting for now
1. I have dealt with www.book-promotion.com intensively for
over a week now. I am expecting input from two
members of their team this week. From their book
reviewer, hopefully by this Friday, four vital documents,
that once I have approved, will allow the www.silee.me.uk
web site to be built: - book review, press release, book
synopsis (summary) and email interview for me to fill out
(quickly!) From that point, the web site can start, but
Kumar, their IT director, meanwhile has to engage with
me by email or preferably phone, to discuss my two
‘extras’ – a blog – on the review page is the best place, I
am about to email him – and the covers of the other seven
books and a brochure as at www.lulu.com/authormeuk -
which I am also about to email him, are best added to the
‘how to order’ page planned already for the main book. I
hope we can agree a budget comparably equally tiny as
the main budget, for these two items, that I know are not
technically difficult (I have supplied the text for the books
covers in nine pdf files, to Manuela – and the search ‘free
blog software’ on Google shows that one can download
scripts for blogs in any language totally free). Also, I need
to know that they are undertaking to carry out their
standard web site ‘offering’ as well as my extras – within
five weeks from now.
2. After all that, will I really achieve a full book launch of nine
publications, on the Internet, all self published so
relatively very lucrative, by Hallowe’en – end of October?
So far everything has gone absolutely swimmingly in
dealings with Manuela – but will something emerge to foul
the excellent relations – as before with Substance Books?
