7. Massive Stress 9. Support comes too little too late
for my ‘fortnight horribilis’ of Wednesday 9 th April-
Friday 25 th April from social services – and my
family. Social services in the person of Terence only
called twice in the course of the first week of this
mounting stress – and as we see from point (8) below, I
had to try to pretend that all was well as I simply just had
to be discharged from hospital the next Wednesday 16 th .
My father and sister happened not to call at all by phone
the whole time in that week and for some time in the
horrible week that followed. I felt I could not call them as
they would cause yet another row about my lack of
money! That always happened especially with my Father,
who always exhibits total unwillingness to make any
allowances however difficult my finances are!
8. Massive stress 10. I had pressing financial need to
get out of hospital at all costs at the discharge
meeting on 16 th April. In order to be able to claim a
community care grant and full DLA and income support in
due course – especially the first, being so large by
comparison. For I needed to raise £1,000 at least to pay
off pressing bills that had built up in hospital! So during
that immensely stressful first week on leave at home I just
had to stay well despite all the above mounting stresses!
9. Massive stress 11. Caused by ALL the above huge
stresses combined; ESPECIALLY Julie first
thoughtlessly and casually threatening, no, more,
saying she WAS taking out a restraining order –
then ignoring 30 phone calls or so from me over the
next few days trying to say ‘did you mean it? WHY?’
– so in the end her phone abuse made me crack up!
I did at that point, eight days of mounting unfair stress
later, crack up, thinking to myself, ‘Julie you ARE taking
out a restraining order aren’t you? That is why you simply
ignore all my phone calls. I won’t be allowed 100 yards
from you! I will be evicted! What have I ever done wrong
to YOU?’ I took the indecent photos of her I had printed
the other week, found the only envelope I had that would
take them was one with a passport form, and was crazily
inspired to write on the form as if it contained self
confessions of rather nasty things about her – and posted
