NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

litany, a lame ‘wait for Kumar to email with a solution’ – which I
had been waiting for eight days for now! He did eventually
email, with no information at all, just insults! – ‘you are
desperate!’ and ‘you think you are the new Bill Gates’! he
sneered! I reflected that the basic problem with the Itch Itch
lying figures was non-reporting of non-home page ‘hits’. Were
those non-entry pages visits visible abroad – they were here? I
thought desperately of some USA company I could call who
would be able to easily check on a computer, nearly going crazy
(even more than usual) by now! Finally I remembered that I
had been able to phone the search engine Look Smart in the
old days. So I looked on the Internet, got their New York
Support Number, and soon ‘Charles’ there had verified that my
web site was fully operational in the USA – so the Google Anal
Itch Itch package WAS the villain of the piece!
Worn out by weeks of worry until this moment, I took drastic
action. I found out how to save my own website to disk from
the Internet Explorer browser – then took the drastic step of
pointing the name servers away from Kumar’s DNS server over
to www.author.me.uk – where I knew www.silee.me.uk was
already an alias. That would take some time to transfer across
– so I quickly copied the website HTML code files to the new
webspace – replacing www.author.me.uk with a new website,
aliased by www.silee.me.uk. So I gained complete control of
the website – having failed to have it transferred over to me
about five times previously – by polite requests to Manuela and
Kumar!
The weekend was very quiet, as the whole week since. I got
familiar for the first time with the statistics package I already
had on www.author.me.uk, which for the last week has
reported 31 visitors, and an average of 55 a day for the week
since. Just to check, I also installed a fresh set of Google Anal
Itch Itch Code – but soon dismissed it as it only reported 6-10
visitors a day compared to 50-60 by my other package! I had
no sales yet, so had a ‘lulu chat’ about that. It turned out that
the more expensive sales direct from Lulu, if any came, would
immediately appear on my sales page – but the more likely
sales from www.amazon.com, www.amazon.co.uk and
www.barnesandnoble.com via my own website would take 6-8
