NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

Suddenly I seemed to have had an immense slice of good luck.
For there was only one much smaller alternative to Lulu Press
Inc, it turned out, which would be very hard to change to.
However there was a Google Adword Advert on the very top of
the page that I would very much have liked to find if I was
looking for such a thing – for the Large American Literary
Agency www.wlwritersagency.com or Writers’ Literary Agency.
I explored their website and it seemed right up my street –
they were currently recruiting new authors like me and also had
both ‘Christian’ and ‘non-fiction – religion and spirituality’
categories. I left it too depressed to think about filling in the
brief questionnaire and then waiting ‘2-3 days’ to see whether
my book ‘Scientific Proof’ might interest them and they ask me
to send the manuscript. The first part of the next day,
Wednesday 24 th June, soon got me riled up enough and out of
my depression to do all that, after sleeping on it, exhausted
with stress!
Two negative things happened on Wednesday morning 24 th
June, followed by a brief very positive hour 12.30pm-1.30pm at
the Mind Club, where I got pepped up by several helpers and
friends there. The first negative thing was the sound of my
books that only just the previous Thursday, I had confirmed
had arrived at the agent David Higham Associates, thumping to
the floor of my hall – once more returned with just an unsigned
standard note! Then I faxed Lulu a second time after faxing
them at the weekend. At the Mind Club that followed, Lena,
one of the care workers, commented I was very tense – so I
explained some of my problems and feelings – and with her
encouragement, left early, got home and at length filled out a
submission questionnaire for ‘Christian’ books on the Writers
Literary Agency site. There was no way to submit my
autobiographical books, including this one, so I emailed Sherry,
their acquisitions director, attaching them. Then I waited in
tenterhooks to see if they really would reply by Saturday – their
promised ‘2-3 days’. Meanwhile at very long last there was a
one-line email from Lulu – saying just ‘thank you for your
patience. Your account is on payment hold but sales are still
reported – but there have been no sales for you since January’!
