NO more relationships with 'girls next door'!; - after TWO in the 'Priory Street Posse'!

We got back, and retired hurt to our two different adjacent
flats, Julie saying she was hungry and needed lunch, so to
unpack my stuff later. Later that afternoon, feathers still
ruffled by this junk shop incident, I remembered that when I
played golf 20 years ago, golf shops were the place to buy and
sell clubs. However when I rang the local club and was put
onto the pro shop, he could not buy them – and in fact
suggested selling them on eBay on the Internet!
Luckily I remembered the username and password of my very
old eBay account that I had not used for years. Indeed, it
seemed possible to sell the clubs there, as well as certain of my
other items. A bronze statuette of a nude couple in an embrace
should also fetch a good price, as should my old ski boots, my
car dent repair kit, and finally least of all, a bracelet with old
Japanese coins on it! So I photographed them all later, and
plan to put adverts on eBay for them tomorrow evening, so
after a week of auction it will be Monday week evening when
the auctions end – time for people to decide over the weekend.
In the meantime, I had a tiny budget as of Saturday to buy a
camera – at a budget price of £329.99 based on the price in
Argos for the very cheapest Nikon or Olympus E420 camera in
the catalogue. Could I get a better deal on eBay? Indeed I
could and bought the following complete Olympus E450 KIT for
just under £6 more than my supposed budget at £335.90: -
• Olympus E450 with variable 18-42mm lens.
• Two other lenses – a fixed wide angle and a fixed X2
telephoto lens – not very useful but better than nothing till
I sold stuff on eBay next week and could buy a proper
telephoto lens for about £100 on eBay not £244 at Argos!
• An 8 GB flash card that costs about £35 each in the shops
• A spare battery – very expensive and very useful indeed.
I could keep a charged up spare battery with me all the
time in case the battery in the camera ran out
• A full size tripod and a portable tripod
• A flash gun
• Delivery with insurance
• Finally, a case
