properties – through lack of po<strong>in</strong>ts. They told me <strong>the</strong>re<br />
are lots of people <strong>with</strong> <strong>more</strong> po<strong>in</strong>ts because <strong>the</strong>y are<br />
homeless – and <strong>the</strong>re are so many applicants for so few<br />
properties. I have to look to get hold of enough money<br />
somehow to raise <strong>the</strong> deposit and rent privately <strong>with</strong> a<br />
landlord who accepts hous<strong>in</strong>g benefit. Julie has all of 23<br />
po<strong>in</strong>ts less than me so has no chance. Besides she now<br />
has rent arrears so cannot apply for six months <strong>after</strong> she<br />
clears <strong>the</strong>m. Her best bet likewise is rent privately – as a<br />
‘key worker’ she can get subsidised rents <strong>in</strong> some areas.<br />
5. Loans I have <strong>more</strong> or less given up on fruitlessly apply<strong>in</strong>g<br />
for <strong>the</strong>se only to be regularly turned down. Also my credit<br />
card charge refunds would be my own money refunded, so<br />
<strong>the</strong>re is no comeback <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>terest or repayments <strong>with</strong><br />
those. However, I am giv<strong>in</strong>g one f<strong>in</strong>al chance to yet<br />
ano<strong>the</strong>r (free) loan broker who contacted me on Thursday,<br />
and lett<strong>in</strong>g any loan providers <strong>the</strong>y come up <strong>with</strong> phone<br />
me <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>next</strong> few days.<br />
6. My ITIN number turns out not to be vital, and I reapplied<br />
to <strong>the</strong> United States Internal Revenue Service weeks some<br />
ago. This time I got advice from Lulu first, so this time<br />
<strong>the</strong>re should not be a problem…<br />

reviewed <strong>after</strong> my Consultant Dr Pathmanandam filled out<br />
some forms <strong>in</strong> December, before <strong>the</strong> DVLA decide to<br />
