When the suitcase
is used for a table,
four supporting legs are extended from
guideways which line with the two outer
compartments. When the suitcase is to
be folded, the legs are forced within
shortening sections.

THREE-IN-ONE BED
I7VEN if we do live in a two-by-four
one-room apartment we have still
clung to the idea that we must have a
place to sit down, a place to sleep, and
a clean place in which to keep our clothes.
The built-in wardrobe beds have helped
us in this respect of course, but they are
not as sanitary as this new three-in-one
bed which can be put into the sunshine
and sterilized as often as desired.
This bed when closed is a compact,
comfortable window seat. When it is
fully opened it is a really comfortable
and commodious single bed, and its many
uses do not prevent its perfect comfort
for sleeping. By
slight pulling of a lever
at one end there is in
easy access a sanitary
wardrobe box underneath.
When the bed
is down, the cover of
the wardrobe box is
completely closed so
that no dust can enter
the wardrobe.
When the bed is made into the window
seat the mattress does not have to be removed
as it is specially built to fold
over on itself, and to still retain its shape
under the daily wear and tear of folding.
