object, about three and
one-half times. The
magnifying glass turns
into any desired position.
The lens is adjustable
and is one and
one-half inches in diameter.
The instrument,
which is nickel,
fits into any size spool
of thread.
The needle threader
can be used for removing
splinters from
hands, is very useful in
botany work, or in
studying maps and in
embroidery work.

board, doing away with
the necessity of placing
the board over a chair
and the stove. When
the board-and-ladder combination
is not in use, it can be
folded into as compact an
article as the ironing board
alone.

ironing board do daily duty in the kitchen
by serving as a kitchen chair.
