equilibrium partial pressure of ammonia over solid (NH4)2SO4
The equilibrium partial pressure of ammonia over solid
(NH4)2SO4 has been determined as a function of temperature
and acid impurity content. At 25 °C a 99.99% pure (NH4)2SO4
sample has a NH3 partial pressure of 4*E-12 atmospheres,
whereas a a 99% pure (NH4)2SO4 sample has a NH3 partial
pressure of only 4*E-14 atm.
