Creating flow sources<br />

Use the Flow Source dialog to manually create SNMP sources when detailed flow data is not<br />

needed or is unavailable for a particular source.<br />

You can manually create a flow source and configure it to use SNMP to collect the following<br />

types of data:<br />

Total counts for incoming and outgoing interface data.<br />

CBQoS information.<br />

Total counts for NBAR data.<br />

To create an SNMP source:<br />

1 Navigate to the Flow Source creation dialog (Flow Monitor > Sources).<br />

2 Click Create Source. The Flow Source dialog appears.<br />

3 Identify and enable the flow source.<br />

a) In the Source IP Address box, type the IP address of the device you want to make a<br />

Flow Monitor source.<br />

b) In the Display Name box, type the name you want to use to identify the flow source.<br />
