To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report. This name appears in the title bar<br />

of the dashboard report pane.<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />

General: Summary Counts<br />

This general dashboard report gives a summary of a group by the total number of:<br />

Monitored devices<br />

Up devices<br />

Down devices<br />

Devices with down Active Monitors<br />

Devices in Maintenance<br />

Active Monitors<br />

Down Active Monitors<br />

Up interfaces<br />

Down interfaces<br />

Actions fired in the last 4 hours<br />

Each entry in the report contains the following information:<br />

Count. The total number of that specific type of passive monitor on the network.<br />

Total number of. The device status types.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the report.<br />

Device group. Select a device group by clicking the Browse (...) button. Select Every<br />

device to select all devices regardless of their subgroups.<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />
