<strong>Ipswitch</strong> <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Guide</strong><br />

CPU Frequency. The CPU frequency of the CPU cores availabe to the VMware host<br />

server.<br />

CPU Model. The CPU model of the CPUs available to the VMware host server.<br />

VM Information. Information about the virtual machines associated with the<br />

VMware host server.<br />

Total VM's. The total number of virtual machines associated with the VMware host<br />

server.<br />

Powered On. The number of virtual machines in the Powered On state.<br />

Powered Off. The number of virtual machines in the Powered Off state.<br />

Suspended. The number of virtual machines in the Suspended state.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Select Devices or Groups. Click to select the virtual hosts, or groups containing<br />

virtual hosts, to display in the report.<br />

3 Click OK to save the changes.<br />

Virtualization: Virtual Machine Current Instant CPU Utilization<br />

The Virtual Machines Current CPU Utilization dashboard report provides a list of the virtual<br />

machines associated with a virtual host or vCenter server, and CPU utilization values for each<br />

virtual machine.<br />

Virtual Machine. Displays the name of the virtual machine as reported by the virtual<br />

host.<br />

1 hour Avg. Displays the average CPU utilization for the past hour.<br />

1 hour Max. Displays the maximum CPU utilization in the past hour.<br />

Current. Displays the current CPU utilization.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Device. Click the browse (...) button. The Select a Device dialog appears.<br />

3 Select the server you want to view in the report.<br />

4 Click OK. The Select a Device dialog closes and the Configure Graph menu appears.<br />

5 Click OK when you have completed your configuration. Click Cancel to cancel the<br />

configuration without making changes.<br />
