<strong>Ipswitch</strong> <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Guide</strong><br />

Maximum number of Items to display. Enter the number of individual items within<br />

the category you want to display in the dashboard report. The report will display the<br />

top values based on the sort option selected in Display and Sort by. All other items in<br />

the category are included in the 'Others' category, and will be displayed when Include<br />

'Others' is selected.<br />

Display. Select the display type you want to use in the dashboard report. Choose<br />

Chart and data, Data only, or Chart only.<br />

Chart type. Select the type of chart you would like the report to display. Choose Pie<br />

chart, Pie chart (3D), Pie chart (transparent 3D), Bar chart, Bar chart (horizontal), Bar<br />

chart (transparent 3D), or Stacked Time graph.<br />

Width. Specify how wide, in pixels, the graph or chart should appear.<br />

Height. Specify how tall, in pixels, the graph or chart should appear.<br />

Filter. Click this button to apply a filter to the dashboard report. If a filter is applied,<br />

only data that meets the filter criteria is displayed in the dashboard report. After<br />

clicking, filter fields appear below the button.<br />

Select the type of filter you want to apply. If appropriate, select a secondary filter type<br />

from the second filter field. For more information on filters, see Filtering Flow Monitor<br />

dashboard reports in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> (on page 1074).<br />

Note: Filters applied here are listed at the top of the dashboard report in Current filters.<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />

You can apply filters to many Flow Monitor dashboard reports in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> using the<br />

dashboard report configuration dialog.<br />

Filtering is essentially drilling down to find more detailed information in a dashboard report.<br />
