Powered Off. The number of virtual machines in the Powered Off state.<br />

Suspended. The number of virtual machines in the Suspended state.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Device. Click the browse (...) button. The Select a Device dialog appears.<br />

3 Select the server you want to view in the report.<br />

4 Click OK. The Select a Device dialog closes and the Configure Graph menu appears.<br />

5 Click OK when you have completed your configuration. Click Cancel to cancel the<br />

configuration without making changes.<br />

Virtualization: WhatsVirtual Events<br />

The WhatsVirtual Events dashboard report displays events that WhatsVirtual is configured to<br />

collect from the vCenter server. The events appear in reverse chronological order, so that the<br />

last event received appears at the top of the list.<br />

Date. Displays the date and time that the event was received by the vCenter server.<br />

Target. Displays the virtual server, host or virtual device that was the target of the<br />

event. The display format is either , or .<br />

<strong>User</strong>. Displays the user that initiated the event.<br />

Message. Displays the message received from the vCenter server that describes the<br />

event.<br />

Configure Graph<br />

You can configure the WhatsVirtual dashboard report from the Configure Graph dialog.<br />

To access the Configure Graph dialog:<br />

Click Menu > Configure. The Configure Graph dialog appears.<br />

Use this dialog to configure the maximum number of rows to return in the WhatsVirtual<br />

Events dashboard report.<br />

To set the maximum number of rows to return:<br />

On the Configure Report menu, type the maximum number of rows you want the report to<br />

display in the Maximum rows to return box.<br />

To save your changes:<br />

Click OK when you have completed your configuration. Click Cancel to cancel the<br />

configuration without making changes.<br />
