To export to PDF format:<br />

1 Open the report you want to export.<br />

2 Click Export.<br />

3 Select Export to PDF. The Export to PDF dialog appears.<br />

4 Select the following options:<br />

Page size. Select a page size from the menu.<br />

- or -<br />

Auto size. Select this option to automatically adjust the page size to fit all content on<br />

the PDF.<br />

Page orientation. When a page size is selected, select Portrait or Landscape<br />

PDF.<br />

Select the Live links option if you want to include clickable URL links in the PDF<br />

report.<br />

Select Current page to export the currently viewed page, or select All pages to<br />

export all pages in the report.<br />

5 Click Export to export the report to a PDF.<br />

Emailing reports and logs<br />

Tip: In some cases, exported reports show more detailed data than that of the data displayed<br />

in the report in the web interface. For example, an exported Excel report may contain more<br />

data columns, or a floating data point with higher precision.<br />

To email a report as a PDF:<br />

1 Open the report you want to email.<br />

2 Click Email.<br />

3 Click Email / Schedule Report. The Email Report dialog appears.<br />

4 Click Email Options. Complete the following information:<br />

To. The email address of the account receiving the report<br />

From. The address that appears as the sender of the report<br />

Subject. The subject line appearing in the report email<br />

Include url in email. Select to also include the report as a web link<br />

Alternate host. When Include url in email is selected, you can choose to alter the<br />

way the URL appears to the end user. This is a useful option if users outside of your<br />

network need to access the server using a different name or address than the<br />

default address of the <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> server.<br />

5 Select the appropriate PDF Options. See Exporting reports and logs (on page 626) for<br />

more information.<br />

6 Click Email <strong>Server</strong>.<br />
