Virtualization: Virtual <strong>Server</strong> Attributes<br />

This dashboard report displays details about a virtual host or vCenter server. Placing this<br />

dashboard report in a dashboard allows you to track details about a virtual host or vCenter<br />

server, as well as the number and power states of virtual machines associated with the virtual<br />

host or vCenter server.<br />

VM <strong>Server</strong> details for. Lists the virtual server IP address or host name.<br />

Tip: Click on the IP address or host name to see the Device Status report.<br />

<strong>Server</strong> Attributes. List the attributes of the VMware server software running on the<br />

VMware host or vCenter server.<br />

Name. Displays the name of the VMware server software running on the VMware host<br />

or vCenter server.<br />

VIM Version. Displays the version of the VMware server software running on the<br />

VMware host or vCenter server.<br />

API Version. Displays the version of the VMware Application Programming Interface<br />

(API) used to gather information and issue commands to the virtual machines hosted<br />

by the VMware host or vCenter server.<br />

Build. Displays the build number of the VMware server software running on the<br />

VMware host or vCenter server.<br />

Hardware Information. Displays information about the hardware of the VMware<br />

host, only the Vendor will be available for a vCenter server.<br />

Vendor. Displays the name of the vendor who manufactured the CPUs used by the<br />

VMware host or vCenter server.<br />

Model. Displays the model number of the CPUs available to the VMware host.<br />

CPU Cores. The number of CPU cores available to the VMware host.<br />

CPU Packages. The number of CPU packages available to the VMware host.<br />

CPU Threads. The total number of CPU threads available to the VMware host.<br />

CPU Frequency. The CPU frequency of the CPU cores availabe to the VMware host.<br />

CPU Model. The CPU model of the CPUs available to the VMware host.<br />

Note: Hardware information will be displayed only if the selected device is a VMware host<br />

for which credentials were supplied and selected during a VMware scan.<br />

VM Information. Information about the virtual machines associated with the<br />

VMware host or vCenter server.<br />

Total VMs. The total number of virtual machines associated with the VMware host or<br />

vCenter server.<br />

Powered On. The number of virtual machines in the Powered On state.<br />
