<strong>Ipswitch</strong> <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Guide</strong><br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Device. Click Browse (...) to select a device.<br />

Maximum rows to return. Enter the number of records you would like displayed in<br />

the dashboard report.<br />

Column 2 width. Enter a width for the column (in pixels).<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />

General: Device Toolbar<br />

This device-level dashboard report displays a device's details configured in Device<br />

Propterties > General. You may want to add this dashboard report to a device's dashboard<br />

to help differentiate it from other devices you are monitoring.<br />

Tip: Clicking on the device icon brings up its Device Status Report.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Device. Click browse (...) to select the device this report applies to.<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />

General: Free Form Text/HTML<br />

This universal level dashboard report allows you to write any HTML text for display within a<br />

dashboard view. Displaying this dashboard report offers you the ability to keep important<br />

information in view.<br />

This free-form dashboard report supports:<br />

Any HTML text<br />

Standard HTML formatting - bold, italic, and underline<br />

Tables and tags<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />
