Timeout. Type the amount of time (in seconds) to wait for a response from the<br />

IMAP/POP3 server for each command <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> issued. If this time limit is<br />

exceeded, the monitor fails.<br />

Note: If your IMAP server is configured to move the test message sent by the monitor to a<br />

folder other than the Inbox, the monitor fails. <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> only detects messages in the<br />

Inbox folder on an IMAP server.<br />

Click OK to save changes.<br />

Selecting a blackout period<br />

Select the day and time you want the action placed in blackout period, and when you want<br />

<strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> to begin using the Action. You can select multiple days for a single time<br />

period.<br />

Click OK to add the schedule to the device.<br />

Importing a MIB file<br />

1 In the MIB file to upload to the MIB directory box, type a new MIB file directory path<br />

and file name (for example, \Program Files\Cisco\Mibs\), or<br />

click Browse... to navigate and select the file from the File Upload dialog.<br />

2 Click OK to import the MIB file into the <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> MIB directory (\Program<br />

Files\<strong>Ipswitch</strong>\<strong>WhatsUp</strong>\Data\Mibs\). The MIB viewer<br />

opens and the MIB file is validated. If errors exists in the MIB, the summary information<br />

at the top of the page will identify the number of errors or warnings.<br />

Note: If you need to add a large number of MIB files, you can manually copy them to the<br />

\Program Files\<strong>Ipswitch</strong>\<strong>WhatsUp</strong>\Data\Mibs\ directory, then click Reload in the<br />

SNMP MIB Manager dialog to update and validate their status.<br />

Hub Transport <strong>Server</strong> Role Thresholds<br />

The following table lists the threshold settings available for the Hub Transport <strong>Server</strong><br />

category:<br />
