Top 10: Disk Utilization<br />

This home-level dashboard report displays the top devices based on their percentage of<br />

utilized disk space. Placing this dashboard report in a dashboard allows you to keep tabs on<br />

crucial devices and their current disk load by glancing at the colors associated with each<br />

percentage level:<br />

Red. Above 90%<br />

Yellow. Between 80% and 90%<br />

Green. 80% or less<br />

Each entry in the report contains the following information:<br />

Device. The network device.<br />

Disk. The drive description.<br />

Percent Full. The percentage of the disk currently utilized.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Maximum rows to return. Enter the number of records to display in the dashboard<br />

report.<br />

Column 2 width. Enter a width for the column (in pixels).<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />

Interface Errors and Discards: Top X by Number of Discards<br />

This home-level dashboard report displays the top device interfaces with packet discards for<br />

inbound and outbound data during a selected time period.<br />

Device. The network device name.<br />

Interface. The interface description.<br />

Transmit. The number of discarded packets transmitted from each interface.<br />

Receive. The number of discarded packets received from each interface.<br />

Total. Provides the number of packets discarded for each interface.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />
