Module Index. In the case of an enclosed chassis/module configuration, the module<br />

index of the physical component.<br />

Card Index. In the case of an enclosed chassis/module configuration, the card index<br />

of the physical component.<br />

Alias. An alias name for the physical component.<br />

Vendor Type. A vendor index number that is specific to the hardware vendor.<br />

Status. The current status of the physical component.<br />

Asset ID. The proprietary asset ID that is assigned to the physical component.<br />

Contained In. Indicates the index of the physical component that this component is<br />

contained in.<br />

Parent Relative Position. Indicates the relative position when the component is<br />

contained in another component (for example, a module index in a chassis<br />

configuration)<br />

Field Replaceable Unit. Indicates whether the item can be replaced in the field.<br />

Device Viewer - Link Information<br />

Link Information displays the following information.<br />

Local Link. The local physical link, or interface. If no interface information is shown,<br />

the connection was made to the device.<br />

Remote Link. The remote physical link.<br />

Device Viewer - IP Route Information<br />

IP Route Information displays the following.<br />

Destination. The destination IP address of this route. Entries of 0.0.0.0 are considered<br />

to be a default route.<br />

Net Mask. The mask used in conjunction with the destination address.<br />

Next Hop. The IP address of the next hop of this route.<br />

IF Index. The index of the local interface through which the next hop of this route<br />

should be reached.<br />

Type. The type of route (i.e. local, direct, indirect)<br />

Protocol. Routing mechanism by which this route was learned.<br />

Device Viewer - Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) Information<br />

Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) Information displays the following.<br />

Index. The BridgePort index to which this entry applies.<br />

Designated Root. The MAC address of the designated spanning-tree root for this<br />

bridge port.<br />

Designated Root Device. The Display Name of the designated root.<br />

Designated Bridge. The MAC address of the designated bridge for this bridge port.<br />
