2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Device group. Select a device group by clicking the browse (...) button. To select<br />

every device on the network, select Every device.<br />

Every device. Select this option to display every device in the system. However, only<br />

devices that you have permissions to view display.<br />

Style. Select the style and size in which you would like the mini status displayed.<br />

Normal. Displays device and active monitor status with icons.<br />

High Contrast. Displays device and active monitor status with bright colors.<br />

Show Active Monitors. Select this option to display the active monitors associated<br />

with the group devices.<br />

Active Monitors per Row. Select the number of active monitors displayed per row.<br />

Active Monitors Cell Width. Enter a cell width in pixels.<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />

Problem Areas: Devices with Down Active Monitors<br />

This dashboard report displays devices with down active monitors for a select group. Adding<br />

this dashboard report to a dashboard view helps you watch your network status by showing<br />

you which devices are down, and the status of active monitors.<br />

Device. The network device.<br />

Status. The status of the device active monitor after the last poll.<br />

To help maximize the available viewing area on your monitor, you can limit the number of<br />

rows displayed in the report or shortening the width of the Status column.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Device group. Select a device group by clicking the Browse (...) button. Select Every<br />

device to select all devices.<br />

Maximum rows to return. Enter the number of records you would like displayed in<br />

the dashboard report.<br />

Column 2 width. Enter a width for column 2 in pixels.<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />
