General: Custom Links<br />

This universal dashboard report lets you add http links to a dashboard for easy access. For<br />

example, use this dashboard report to add a link to your company's home page to easily<br />

access this page from the <strong>WhatsUp</strong> web interface.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select the appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Click Add to add a new custom link to the dashboard report.<br />

Select an existing link and click Edit to change an existing link.<br />

Select an existing link and click Remove to remove a link from the list.<br />

Move an existing link up or down the list by first selecting it, and then clicking Up<br />

or Down.<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />

General: Database Size<br />

This home-level dashboard report provides graphical illustration of the database size at the<br />

time of the last poll. Placing this dashboard report in a dashboard allows you to view your<br />

database size at a glance.<br />

The graph uses color to show the current status:<br />

Red. Above 75%<br />

Yellow. Between 50% and 75%<br />

Green. 50% or less<br />

Under the graph, the database size is listed in MBs, along with the percentages for used and<br />

free space.<br />

Note: Graphs will only show for Microsoft SQL <strong>Server</strong> Express Editions, as other editions of<br />

Microsoft SQL <strong>Server</strong> have no size limitations.<br />
