Interface Errors Home Displays the top devices based on total interface errors.<br />

Interface Discards Home Displays the top devices based on total interface discards.<br />

Top 10: CPU Utilization<br />

This home-level dashboard report displays the top devices based on their current CPU<br />

utilization percentages. Placing this dashboard report in a dashboard allows you to keep tabs<br />

on crucial devices and their current CPU load. Report percentages are displayed in colors that<br />

represent the CPU utilization thresholds:<br />

Red. Above 90%<br />

Yellow. Above 80%<br />

Green. 80% or less<br />

Each entry in the report contains the following information:<br />

Device. The network device.<br />

CPU. The device CPU description.<br />

CPU Load. The percentage of CPU currently in use.<br />

To configure this dashboard report in <strong>WhatsUp</strong> <strong>Gold</strong>:<br />

1 In the title bar of the dashboard report pane, select Menu > Configure. The Configure<br />

Report dialog appears.<br />

2 Enter or select appropriate information for the following fields.<br />

Report name. Enter a title for the dashboard report.<br />

Maximum rows to return. Enter the number of records to display in the dashboard<br />

report.<br />

Column 2 width. Enter a width for column 2 (in pixels).<br />

3 Click OK to save changes.<br />

Custom Performance Monitor Top 10 (Specific Monitor)<br />

This home-level dashboard report displays top devices in a group based on their association<br />

with a custom WMI or SNMP performance monitor. Placing this dashboard report in a<br />

dashboard allows you to keep tabs on crucial devices and their custom performance monitor<br />

values.<br />

Custom performance monitor. The custom performance monitor you chose to<br />

watch in this dashboard report.<br />

For group. The group you selected to display in the report.<br />

Device. The device associated with the custom performance monitor. Clicking on the<br />

device opens its Device Status dashboard.<br />

Value. The value returned from the custom performance monitor.<br />
