on <strong>the</strong> contrary, admits it as a dist<strong>in</strong>ct species of <strong>the</strong> true genus Bucc<strong>in</strong>um,<br />

allied to humphreysianum, ibid. p. 79.<br />

<strong>the</strong> monograph of this genus, publish<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> fourteen<br />

plates (328-3 11 of <strong>the</strong> whole work) beautiful figures of about<br />

90 species ; <strong>the</strong> figures arc of <strong>the</strong> natural size. This part conta<strong>in</strong>s<br />

no o<strong>the</strong>r letterpress than <strong>the</strong> explanation of <strong>the</strong> figures.
