BUTLER (Ent. M. M. vii. pp. 55-58, 92-99) has published a revision of<br />

<strong>the</strong> genera of Hesperida, add<strong>in</strong>g a list of <strong>the</strong> species referable to each genus<br />

which are conta<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> collection of <strong>the</strong> British Museum. Some new<br />

genera are characterized, and it cannot be doubted that <strong>the</strong> study of <strong>the</strong><br />

group will receive a great impetus from this important paper. Butler regards<br />

Ismene Swa<strong>in</strong>s., as typical Hesperia, Fabr.; Carterocephalus, a name under<br />
