He states that E. frax<strong>in</strong>ata is, like <strong>in</strong>notata, probably double-brooded;<br />

on which <strong>the</strong> editor remarks that <strong>in</strong>notata is certa<strong>in</strong>ly s<strong>in</strong>gle-brooded <strong>in</strong><br />

.Eastern Germany, at least <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Oder district, and that Knoch only observed<br />

one brood at Brunswick.<br />
