In cont<strong>in</strong>uation of <strong>the</strong> paper formerly noticed (Zool. Rec. iv.<br />

p. 69). Two hundred and sixteen species are added to <strong>the</strong> avifauna<br />

of Veragua, of which n<strong>in</strong>e (belong<strong>in</strong>g to Picidce, Caprimulgidce,<br />

Cypselidce, Trochilidce, Cot<strong>in</strong>gidae, Tyrannidce, Troglodytides,<br />

and Tanagridee) are new; and <strong>the</strong> plate gives a useful<br />

map of <strong>the</strong> country.<br />
