Anthoeharis belia, Esp. Staud<strong>in</strong>ger remarks on <strong>the</strong> different forms of this<br />

species. L. c. pp. 37-39.<br />

Anthoeharis damone. This species does not occur, as stated, <strong>in</strong> Sicily, but<br />

<strong>in</strong> Greece and Asia M<strong>in</strong>or. Staud<strong>in</strong>ger, I. c. pp. 40, 41.<br />

Callidryas. Butler (Lep. Exot. pts. 3-6, pis. 9,12, 15,16) has commenced<br />

a monograph of this genus, and figures and describes <strong>the</strong> follow<strong>in</strong>g known<br />

species:—C. crocale, C.fiava, C. catilla, C. gorgophone, C. scylla, C. chryseis,<br />

C. pyran<strong>the</strong>, C. gnoma, C. pyrene.<br />

Butler states (Tr. E. Soc. 1870) that C. braeteolata= C. cipris, $ (p. 9,<br />

note), and that 0. alemeone and C. boisduvalii appear to be extreme variations<br />

of <strong>the</strong> same species (p. 11 and note).<br />

Rhodocera. Boisduval (Le"p. Guat. p. 10) suggests -that his B. lacordairei<br />
