front of each lateral eye is ano<strong>the</strong>r nearly contiguous and distant about its<br />

own diameter's length from marg<strong>in</strong> of clypeus. Legs nei<strong>the</strong>r very long nor<br />

strong; relative length 1, 2, 4, 3; metatarsi of 4th pair have calamistra on<br />

<strong>the</strong>n- outer sides; tarsi end with 3 curved pect<strong>in</strong>ate claws. Maxillce strong,<br />

ra<strong>the</strong>r long, curved and <strong>in</strong>cl<strong>in</strong>ed towards labium, of nearly equal breadth<br />

throughout, and rounded at <strong>the</strong>ir extremities. Labium moderately long,<br />

broader at base than at apex, which is truncate. A supernumerary mamillary<br />

organ is situated beneath <strong>the</strong> usual sp<strong>in</strong>ners, which are 6 <strong>in</strong> number,<br />

ra<strong>the</strong>r strong, prom<strong>in</strong>ent and projected <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> same plane as <strong>the</strong> abdomen.—<br />
