REYNELL Henry Reynell <strong>of</strong> Leatherhead, (d.1824), was son <strong>of</strong> Henry Reynell, olim Reynell-Spiller, <strong>of</strong> Shepperton, Middlesex,<br />
(d.1762), and descended from the Reynell family <strong>of</strong> Ogwell, Devon.<br />
<strong>Arms</strong>: Argent masonry Sable a chief indented <strong>of</strong> the second.<br />
Crest: A fox passant, (or statant) Or<br />

The above named Ralph Ricardo's twin brother Benjamin, (1787-1841), was great-grandfather <strong>of</strong> Major Louis Ferdinand Ricardo, 8 th Hussars, <strong>of</strong><br />
Waterside, Lingfield, (d.1951).<br />
<strong>Arms</strong>: Gules a bend Vair * between three garbs Or on a chief Ermine a chess rook Sable between two bezants.<br />
Crest: A mount Vert thereon a Cornish chough supporting a staff Proper thereon hoisted a pennon Vair. ** (BLG18; FD7)<br />

RICH In 1771 the trustees <strong>of</strong> Sir Robert Rich, 4 th Bart., (d.1768), bought Waverley for the benefit <strong>of</strong> his son Sir Robert Rich, 5 th<br />
Bart., (d.1785). His daughter, Mary Frances married, 1783, the Rev. Charles Bostock who changed his name to Rich and was created Baronet<br />
