Admiral Charles Wake, RN, (1824-90), and grandson <strong>of</strong> Sir Charles Wake, 10 th Bart., (1791-1864). Of the same family, Lieutenant-Colonel<br />

Hereward Baldwin Lawrence Wake, MA (Oxon), (b.1900), descended from Sir William Wake, 7 th Bart., (d.1756), was Headmaster <strong>of</strong> St. John's<br />

School, Leatherhead, 1948-59. His younger son Robin Eyre Wake <strong>of</strong> Courteen Cottage, Burney Road, Westhumble, Dorking, (b.1933).<br />

Wimbledon Common, (b.1905), younger son <strong>of</strong> the Rev. John Michael Stanhope Walker, Vicar <strong>of</strong> Silkstone, Nottinghamshire, and Rector <strong>of</strong><br />

Great Billing, Northamptonshire, and <strong>of</strong> Steeple Ashton, Oxfordshire, (1871-1955).<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Argent three pallets Gules surmounted <strong>of</strong> a saltire Azure on a chief <strong>of</strong> the last two piles <strong>of</strong> the first one issuing from the<br />
