Kinross-shire, (b.1922), elder son <strong>of</strong> Major Robert Scott-Moncrieff, DL, Royal Scots, 5 th {Laird) <strong>of</strong> Fossaway, (1887-1956), and descended from<br />

John Scott, MD (Leyden), <strong>of</strong> <strong>Coats</strong>, Fifeshire, (1691-1765), and his 1 st wife Magdalene, (d.1739), daughter and heir <strong>of</strong> Robert Moncrieff, <strong>of</strong><br />

Rhynd, Perthshire.<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Quarterly, 1 and 4, Argent a pheon Azure between three lions' heads erased Gules langued <strong>of</strong> the second (Scott); 2 and 3,<br />

Argent a lion rampant Gules a chief Ermine within a bordure engrailed Azure (Moncrieff).<br />

SELBY-LOWNDES The Rev. George Noel Selby-Lowndes, MA (Cantab), (1886-1964), 2 nd son <strong>of</strong> Lieutenant-Colonel Charles William<br />

Selby-Lowndes, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, (1845-1921), was Vicar <strong>of</strong> Bramley, 1924-44, Vicar <strong>of</strong> Grafham, 1933-44, and Rector and<br />

Rural Dean <strong>of</strong> Farnham and Canon <strong>of</strong> Guildford. He was father <strong>of</strong> Guy Francis Charles Selby-Lowndes, MA (Cantab), <strong>of</strong> 36 Milton Crescent,<br />

Godalming, (b.1929).<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Quarterly, 1 and 4, Argent fretty Azure each interlacing charged with a bezant on a canton Gules a leopard's head erased at<br />

the neck Or (Lowndes); 2 and 3, Or three bars Sable within a bordure wavy Gules (Selby).<br />
