PRODGERS Edward Prodgers <strong>of</strong> Ludlow, Shropshire, (1738-1819), was father <strong>of</strong> the Rev. Edwin Prodgers, JP, BD (Oxon), <strong>of</strong> Clarence<br />
Lodge, (d.1861), who married, 1828, Caroline, daughter and coheir <strong>of</strong> John Blades <strong>of</strong> Brockwell Hall, qv.<br />
<strong>Arms</strong>: Per pale Gules and Azure three lions rampant, two and one, Argent between three crosses pattée fitché at the foot, one and<br />
two Erminois.<br />
Crest: In front <strong>of</strong> a cross Calvary Or a wyvern with wings endorsed in the mouth a sinister hand couped at the wrist Gules gorged<br />
with a collar and line reflexed over the back Gold the dexter claw resting on a cross pattée <strong>of</strong> the last.<br />
