PARRY Thomas Parry <strong>of</strong> The Manor House, Banstead, (1732-1816), a Director <strong>of</strong> the East India Company, descended from Henry<br />
Parry, Bishop <strong>of</strong> Gloucester, 1607-10, and <strong>of</strong> Worcester, 1610-16, was father <strong>of</strong> Richard Parry <strong>of</strong> Banstead and <strong>of</strong> the Madras CS, (1776-1817), a<br />
Director <strong>of</strong> the East India Co, who married, 1813, Mary, (d.1821), daughter <strong>of</strong> Samuel Gambier <strong>of</strong> Shenley Hall, Hertfordshire. Their son<br />
Thomas Gambier Parry, DL, JP, MA (Cantab), (1816-88), well known as a philanthropist and a fresco painter, bought Highnam Hall,<br />
