<strong>Arms</strong>: Or a lion rampant Gules charged with three chevrons Argent.<br />

Crest: A boar head couped and erect issuing from a coronet.<br />

RANDOLPH The Rt. Rev. and Rt. Hon. John Randolph, PC, MA, DD (Oxon), FRS, Bishop <strong>of</strong> Oxford and <strong>of</strong> Bangor, (1749-1813), had a<br />

2 nd son the Rev. John Honywood Randolph, JP, MA (Oxon), (1791-1868), Rector <strong>of</strong> Sanderstead, 1845-66, Proctor in Convocation for the<br />

Archdeaconry <strong>of</strong> <strong>Surrey</strong>, and patron <strong>of</strong> St. Andrew's, Croydon, whose elder son the Rev. John Randolph, MA (Oxon), (1821-81), was Rector <strong>of</strong><br />

Sanderstead, 1866-81. The Bishop had a 5 th son the Rev. George Randolph, MA (Oxon), Vicar <strong>of</strong> Coulsdon, 1841-63, great-grandfather <strong>of</strong> Cyril<br />

George Randolph <strong>of</strong> 3 Castle Court, Castle Hill, Farnham, (b.1899). From the Bishop descended also the Rev. Leveson Cyril Randolph, MA<br />

(Oxon), (1824-76), Vicar <strong>of</strong> Lower Norwood, 1870-76, father <strong>of</strong> the Rt. Rev. John Hugh Granville Randolph, MA, DD (Cantab), (1866-1936),<br />

Suffragan Bishop <strong>of</strong> Guildford, 1909-28; the Rev. William Frederick Herbert Randolph, MA (Oxon), (1862-1946), Vicar <strong>of</strong> St. Andrew's,<br />

Croydon, 1889-99; and Thomas Granville Randolph, MC, FRSA, <strong>of</strong> Elmwood, Warlingham, (1886-1961).<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Gules on a cross Argent five mullets Sable.<br />

Crest: An antelope's head couped Or.<br />

Local History Records, vol ix, 1970, records the mullets in the arms as pierced, and the antelope's head in the crest as erased.<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Per pale indented Gules and Argent three boars' heads erased, two and one, between two flaunches that on the dexter charged<br />

with a tilting spear and that on the sinister with a pole axe all counterchanged.<br />

Crest: In front <strong>of</strong> a tilting spear in bend and a poleaxe in bend sinister Proper a boar's head erased Gules.<br />

MRCS, LRCP, (1876-1948), and descended from John Rashleigh <strong>of</strong> Menabilly, Cornwall, (1554-1624).<br />
