SURREY COATS OF ARMS<br />

MYATT Herbert William Myatt <strong>of</strong> The Wilderness, Shirley, solicitor, (b.1865), eldest son <strong>of</strong> William James Myatt, solicitor,<br />

(d.1913).<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Barry <strong>of</strong> six Erminois and Sable on a bend per bend <strong>of</strong> the second and first cotised Argent three talbot's heads erased <strong>of</strong> the<br />

last.<br />

Crest: Upon a rock Proper a talbot passant per pale Sable and Erminois collared and chain reflexed over the back Or supporting<br />

with the dexter foreleg a battle axe also Or.<br />

Motto: J'y suis j'y reste. (FD7)<br />

MYNN [also spelt MYN and MYNDE] <strong>of</strong> Horton in Epsom, from 1512 to 1626.<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Sable a daunce paly <strong>of</strong> six Argent and Gules.<br />

Crest: A swan head and neck couped between two wings displayed Argent.<br />

As borne by Nicholas Myn (SV1530). But on the monument in Epsom Church, Richard Evelyn, (d.1669), impales Mynn as A daunce Ermine<br />

between six cross crosslets.<br />

NB There was a second family <strong>of</strong> Mynn who married the heiress <strong>of</strong> the first house, and Richard Evelyn married the heir <strong>of</strong> this second family. *<br />

MYNORS <strong>of</strong> Malden.<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Azure an eagle displayed Or, a chief Argent.<br />

MYNORS The Rev. Aubrey Baskerville Mynors, MA (Oxon), (1865-1937), had issue, amongst others, a 2 nd son Sir Humphrey Charles<br />

Baskerville Mynors, 1 st Bart., MA (Cantab), Hon. DCL (Dunelm), <strong>of</strong> Treago, Herefordshire, formerly <strong>of</strong> Sunhill House, Mayford, Woking,<br />

Director and Deputy Governor <strong>of</strong> the Bank <strong>of</strong> England, (b.1903), and a 4 th son Major David Rickards Baskerville Mynors, MA (Oxon), <strong>of</strong> Stony<br />

Yarrows, Mayford, Scots Guards, Director, Imperial Tobacco Company, (b.1915).<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Sable an eagle displayed Or beaked and membered Gules on a chief Azure bordured Argent a chevron between two crescents<br />

in chief and a rose in base <strong>of</strong> the second.<br />

Crest: A naked arm embowed the hand holding an eagle's leg erased at the thigh all Proper.<br />

Motto: Spero ut fidelis. (BP105; BLG17; BGA)<br />
