<strong>Arms</strong>: Argent on a fess raguly Azure three fleur-de-lys Or, in chief. a trefoil slipped Vert.<br />

WOODS Charles John Woods <strong>of</strong> Godalming, (1811-68), was one <strong>of</strong> HM's Coroners for <strong>Surrey</strong>.<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Argent on a mount in base an oak tree eradicated fructed Proper a chief Gules thereon a pale Or charged with a demi wild<br />

man affronté in the dexter hand a club and in the sinister an acorn stalked and leaved all Proper.<br />

Rector <strong>of</strong> Sutton, 1922-54, and Rural Dean <strong>of</strong> Beddington, 1938-54. Of the same family, John Francis Woollcombe, MICE, <strong>of</strong> Fair Oaks,<br />

Oxshott, Works and Building Engineer, London Transport, 1939-59, (dsp 1959), (b.1897), younger son <strong>of</strong> James Yonge Woollcombe, solicitor,<br />

Alderman <strong>of</strong> Plymouth, (1863-1923).<br />

Humphrey Woolrych <strong>of</strong> 31 Monkleigh Road, Morden and Michael Ernfrid Woolrych, BM, B.Ch (Oxon), <strong>of</strong> 20 Nightingale Road, Godalming,<br />

were born 1926 and 1931, 2 nd and 3 rd and sons <strong>of</strong> Anthony Claude Woolrych, MBE, MC, <strong>of</strong> Copenhagen, (1890-1959).<br />

WORSFOLD Sir Thomas Cato Worsfold, 1 st and last Bart., DL, JP, MA, LL.D (TCD), <strong>of</strong> The Hall Place, Mitcham, solicitor, (d.1936), son<br />

<strong>of</strong> William Worsfold <strong>of</strong> The Hall Place, was MP for Mitcham, 1918-23, and was created Baronet, 1924.<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Argent on a mount Vert a beacon fired between three lambs Proper.<br />

Crest: Within a crown palisado Or a shepherd's hound Proper.<br />

son Evan Laming Evans, CBE, MA, MD, BC (Cantab), FRCS, <strong>of</strong> Broadham End, (1871-1945), an elder son, Sir Worthington Laming<br />

Worthington Evans, 1 st Bart., PC, GBE, <strong>of</strong> Doghurst, Limpsfield, (1868-1931), who was succeeded by his son Sir William Shirley Worthington<br />

Worthington-Evans, 2 nd Bart., BA (Cantab), barrister-at-law at one time also <strong>of</strong> Doghurst.<br />

<strong>Arms</strong>: Quarterly, 1 and 4, Per pale Argent and Gules a lion passant reguardant between two fleurs-de-lys in chief and in base a<br />

bundle <strong>of</strong> rods banded all counterchanged (Evans); 2 and 3, Azure a saltire engrailed Argent between three tridents one in chief and two in fess<br />

Or (Worthington).<br />

Crests: 1, A lion passant reguardant Argent the body charged with three crosses moline Gules and resting the dexter paw upon a<br />
