The name qualifier can include the following wildcard characters:<br />

• An asterisk (*) to show any number of characters<br />

• A question mark (?) to show a single character<br />

Wildcard characters allow you to:<br />

• Specify more than one net<br />

• Shorten and simplify the full hierarchical name<br />

For example, specifying the group FFS (MACRO_A/Q?) selects only the flip-flops<br />

driving the Q0, Q1, Q2 and Q3 nets.<br />

Grouping <strong>Constraints</strong><br />

• Component Group (COMPGRP)<br />

• Pin (PIN)<br />

• Timing Group (TIMEGRP)<br />

• Timing Name (TNM)<br />

• Timing Name Net (TNM_NET)<br />

• Timing Point Synchronization (TPSYNC)<br />

• Timing Thru Points (TPTHRU)<br />
