In manufacturing the lie that China opposes peaceful coexistence,the leaders of the CPSU are prompted by ulterior motives.To put it bluntly, their aim is to draw a veil over theirown ugliness in betraying proletarian internationalism andcolluding with imperialism.THE GENERAL LINE OF “PEACEFULCOEXISTENCE” OF THE CPSU LEADERSIt is not we, but the leaders of the CPSU, who in fact violateLenin’s policy of peaceful coexistence.The leaders of the CPSU have lauded their concept of peacefulcoexistence in superlative terms. What are their mainviews on the question of peaceful coexistence?1. The leaders of the CPSU maintain that peaceful coexistenceis the overriding and supreme principle for solvingcontemporary social problems. They assert that it is “thecategorical imperative of modern times” and “the imperiousdemand of the epoch”. 1 They say that “peaceful coexistencealone is the best and the sole acceptable way to solve the vitallyimportant problems confronting society” 2 and that the principleof peaceful coexistence should be made the “basic lawof life for the whole of modern society”. 32.
