well as the only correct way to safeguard the unity of theinternational communist movement.THE GREATEST SPLITTERS OF OUR TIMESThe events of recent years show that the leaders of theCPSU headed by Khrushchov have become the chief representativesof modern revisionism as well as the greatest splittersin the international communist movement.Between the 20th and 22nd Congresses of the CPSU, theleaders of the CPSU developed a rounded system of revisionism.They put forward a revisionist line which contravenesthe proletarian revolution and the dictatorship of the proletariat,a line which consists of “peaceful coexistence”, “peacefulcompetition”, “peaceful transition”, “a state of the wholepeople” and “a party of the entire people”. They have triedto impose this revisionist line on all fraternal Parties as asubstitute for the common line of the international communistmovement which was laid down at the meetings of fraternalParties in 1957 and 1960. And they have attacked anyonewho perseveres in the Marxist-Leninist line and resists theirrevisionist line.The leaders of the CPSU have themselves undermined thebasis of the unity of the international communist movementand created the present grave danger of a split by betrayingMarxism-Leninism and proletarian internationalism and pushingtheir revisionist and divisive line.Far from working to consolidate and expand the socialistcamp, the leaders of the CPSU have endeavoured to splitand disintegrate it. They have thus made a mess of the splendidsocialist camp.They have violated the principles guiding relations amongfraternal countries as laid down in the Declaration and theStatement, pursued a policy of great-power chauvinism and318
