talism with socialism, asserting that the present-day world “asa whole has deeply ‘plunged’ into socialism, become socialist”. 1They also say that “now the question — socialism or capitalismis already solved on a world scale”. 2Browderite revisionism, the theory of structural reform andTitoite revisionism — these have been the chief manifestationsof the revisionist trend since World War II.Between the 20th and the 22nd Congresses of the CPSU,Khrushchov’s revisionist line of “peaceful transition”, “peacefulcoexistence” and “peaceful competition” became a completesystem. He has been hawking this stuff everywhere ashis “new creation”. Yet it is nothing new but is merely a rehashedand meretricious combination of Browderite revisionism,the theory of structural reform and Titoite revisionism.In international relations, Khrushchov’s revisionism practisescapitulation to U.S. imperialism; in the imperialist and capitalistcountries it practises capitulation to the reactionaryruling classes; in the socialist countries it encourages the developmentof capitalist forces.If Bernstein, Kautsky and the other revisionists of the SecondInternational ran in a single line and belonged to thesame family around the time of World War I, then the sameis true of Browder, Tito and Khrushchov after World War II.Browder has made this point clear. He wrote in 1960,“Khrushchov has now adopted the ‘heresy’ for which I waskicked out of the Communist Party in 1945.” And he addedthat Khrushchov’s new policy “is almost word for word thesame line I advocated fifteen years ago.
