All the important posts on this farm“were occupied by his in-laws and other relatives and friends”.He squandered “over 132,000 roubles of the collective farm forhis personal ‘needs’”. He had a car, two motor-cycles andthree wives, each with “a house of her own”. 2The chairman of a collective farm in the Kursk Region regardedthe farm as his “hereditary estate”. He conspiredwith its accountant, cashier, chief warehouse-keeper, agronomist,general-store manager and others.
