It is already clear that the revisionism and splittism of theleaders of the CPSU have greatly assisted the spread of therevisionist torrent internationally and rendered enormousservice to imperialism and the reactionaries of all countries.The revisionism and splittism of the leaders of the CPSUare the product both of the lush growth of the bourgeois elementsinside the Soviet Union, and of imperialist policy, andparticularly of the U.S. imperialist policies of nuclear blackmailand “peaceful evolution”. In turn, their revisionist and divisivetheories and policies cater not only to the widespread capitalistforces at home but also to imperialism, and serve to paralysethe revolutionary will and to obstruct the revolutionary struggleof the people of the world.Indeed, the leaders of the CPSU have already won warmpraise and applause from imperialism and its lackeys.The U.S. imperialists praise Khrushchov especially for hissplitting activities in the international communist movement.They say, “It seems clear that Khrushchev is sufficiently inearnest in his desire for a détente with the West that he iswilling to risk a split in the Communist movement to achieveit.” 1 “Nikita Khrushchev has destroyed, irrevocably, the unifiedbloc of Stalin’s day. That is perhaps Khrushchev’s greatestservice — not to Communism, but to the Western world.” 2“We ought to be grateful for his mishandling of his relationshipwith the Chinese. . . . further weaken his position”. 1 They say, “The Administrationis now convinced that the U.S. should offer Khrushchevmaximum support in his dispute with Red China.” 2The Trotskyites, who have long been politically bankrupt,are among those applauding the leaders of the CPSU. Theformer actively support the latter on such fundamental issuesas the attitude one should take towards Stalin, towardsU.S. imperialism and towards the Yugoslav revisionists. Theysay, “The situation created by the Twentieth Congress of theCPSU and still more by the Twenty-second Congress iseminently favourable for the revival of our movement in theworkers states themselves.” 3 “We have prepared for this formore than 25 years. Now we must move in, and move energetically.”4 “In relation to the Khrushchev tendency, we willgive a critical support to its struggle for destalinisation againstthe more conservative tendencies. . . .” 5Just consider! All the enemies of revolution support theleaders of the CPSU with alacrity.
