ARTICLE 34Terms of cooperation1. The Parties recognise the importance of cooperation as regards customs and trade facilitationmeasures for the implem<strong>en</strong>tation of this Agreem<strong>en</strong>t.2. In accordance with the provisions of Article 7, the Parties agree to cooperate in the followingareas, inter alia:(a)the application of modern customs techniques, including risk analysis and risk managem<strong>en</strong>t,binding information, simplified procedures for imports and exports of products, subsequ<strong>en</strong>tverifications and company audit methods;(b)the introduction of procedures which reflect where possible the international instrum<strong>en</strong>ts andstandards applicable in the field of customs and trade, including W<strong>TO</strong> rules on customsvaluation and WCO instrum<strong>en</strong>ts and standards, inter alia the International Conv<strong>en</strong>tion onthe Simplification and Harmonisation of Customs Procedures, concluded at Kyoto on18 May 1973, and revised at Brussels on 26 June 1999 (the "revised Kyoto Conv<strong>en</strong>tion") andthe WCO Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade; and(c)the computerisation of customs and trade procedures.<strong>CE</strong>/<strong>PAC</strong>/<strong>en</strong> 41
