ARTICLE 42Scope and definitions1. This Chapter shall apply to those measures within the scope of the WTO TBT and SPSAgreements.2. Unless specified otherwise, for the purposes of this Chapter, the definitions of the SPS andTBT Agreements, CODEX Alimentarius, the International Plant Protection Convention and theWorld Organisation for Animal Health shall apply, also for all references to "products" in thisChapter.ARTICLE 43Competent authoritiesWith regard to SPS measures, the authorities in the EC Party and the signatory Central AfricanStates which are responsible for the implementation of the measures referred to in this Chapter aredescribed in Appendix II.The Parties shall inform each other in a timely manner of any significant changes to the competentauthorities listed in Appendix II.
